This project is installed in a frozen food warehouse with oversized cold storage entrances designed for continuous pallet and forklift transportation. The warehouse handles finished and semi-finished frozen products, requiring reliable access across large openings.
LEFAST supplied the RCS5000 double sliding cold storage door to match the building layout and logistics requirements.
Challenge
Conventional cold storage doors are generally unsuitable for oversized openings above standard dimensions. Single sliding doors require excessive side installation space, while high-speed insulated doors are limited by opening size.
The challenge was to provide reliable thermal insulation for a large warehouse entrance without compromising logistics efficiency.

The RCS5000 double sliding cold storage door divides the opening into two sliding leaves, making it suitable for large warehouse entrances while maintaining reliable thermal insulation. The design accommodates continuous forklift traffic without requiring excessive installation space on either side.
Results
The solution provides stable thermal performance for oversized cold storage entrances while supporting efficient warehouse logistics. It enables customers to adopt a practical door solution where conventional cold storage doors are no longer suitable.
