Project Overview

This project is installed in a beverage logistics center featuring AGV-based automated material handling systems. The cold storage entrance is connected to a transfer corridor (anteroom), where automated vehicles handle material movement between the warehouse and the refrigerated storage area.

The RCS5000 double sliding cold storage door serves as a reliable interface between automated logistics operations and temperature-controlled storage zones.

Challenge

In automated logistics environments, material flow between AGV systems and cold storage areas must remain continuous and highly efficient. The interface between the transfer corridor and the refrigerated warehouse requires reliable access control without disrupting automated operations.

The challenge is to ensure smooth coordination between AGV movement and cold storage access while maintaining stable thermal separation.

LEFAST Solution

LEFAST installed the RCS5000 double sliding cold storage door at the interface between the AGV transfer corridor and the refrigerated warehouse. The system ensures stable thermal separation while allowing synchronized operation with automated logistics processes.

The solution supports high-frequency AGV-driven material flow without compromising cold chain integrity.

Results

The project enables efficient coordination between AGV logistics systems and cold storage operations. By maintaining a stable and responsive interface, the solution improves automation efficiency while ensuring consistent cold chain performance.
