High Speed Spiral Door for AS/GS Warehouse in Floor Manufacturing
High-efficiency Automated High-Bay Warehouse Entrance
Project Overview
This project is installed at the entrance of an automated high-bay warehouse in the Gerflor flooring manufacturing facility. Multiple HSD4322 high speed spiral doors are arranged along the warehouse façade, providing controlled access between the warehouse and logistics corridor.
Each door measures approximately 2.5 m wide × 7 m high, matching the requirements of the automated storage system while supporting high-frequency material movement.
Challenge
Automated warehouses require every access point to operate precisely with warehouse equipment and logistics scheduling. Door opening must be synchronized with AGVs and automated storage systems to maintain continuous material flow while minimizing waiting time.
At the same time, tall door openings demand reliable performance during frequent operating cycles.
LEFAST Solution
LEFAST installed HSD4322 high speed spiral doors integrated with the warehouse control system. Control signals from AGVs or the warehouse automation system are connected directly to the door controller, allowing the opening sequence to be configured according to operational requirements.
The high-speed operation matches automated logistics rhythms while the insulated spiral structure helps maintain indoor environmental stability.
Results
The project establishes an efficient interface between automated storage and warehouse logistics. By integrating high-speed door operation with intelligent warehouse control, the system improves logistics efficiency, reduces idle time, and supports reliable automated warehouse operation.
