Project Overview

This project is installed at the waste receiving area of a waste treatment facility. HSD4322 high speed spiral doors are positioned at the unloading entrance, allowing refuse collection vehicles to enter the building for unloading operations.

The large door opening accommodates heavy-duty refuse trucks while supporting efficient daily waste handling.

Challenge

Waste receiving operations require the door to remain closed for most of the time and open only during vehicle unloading. Frequent truck movements make operational efficiency essential, while minimizing the door opening duration helps reduce odor escaping from the receiving area.

The challenge is to balance efficient vehicle access with effective environmental control.

LEFAST Solution

LEFAST installed HSD4322 high speed spiral doors with manual operation through remote controls and wall-mounted push buttons. Drivers receive a remote control before entering the unloading area, allowing the door to open only after the truck is correctly positioned. Once unloading is completed, the door is closed immediately.

This operation logic minimizes unnecessary door opening time while maintaining smooth unloading procedures.

Results

The solution provides reliable access for heavy-duty waste collection vehicles while supporting controlled unloading operations. By reducing unnecessary door opening time, the system improves operational efficiency and contributes to better environmental management in the receiving area.
