Project Overview

The workshop already had a sectional door, but its slow operation and frequent use made it unsuitable for daily traffic. LEFAST added an HSR high-speed rolling door, allowing the existing sectional door to remain while the fast door handles routine access.

Challenge

The existing sectional door could not keep up with frequent opening and closing during working hours. At the same time, removing and replacing the door was not an option.

The customer needed to keep the existing door, improve daily access, and control the project cost.

LEFAST Solution

LEFAST added an HSR high-speed rolling door while keeping the existing sectional door in place.

During working hours, the sectional door stays fully open and the HSR remains closed. Vehicles, materials, and personnel use the HSR for daily access, so the sectional door does not need to open and close repeatedly.

At the end of the working day, the sectional door is closed.

The installation position depends on the existing layout:

Workshop partition: the HSR is installed back-to-back with the existing sectional door.
Exterior entrance: when there is enough space, the HSR is installed on the outside of the sectional door.

Results

The existing sectional door remains in service, while the HSR handles frequent daily traffic.

The customer can keep the original door and improve daily access without replacing the existing installation.
