Project Overview
A lubricant factory installed more than ten high-speed doors across its steel-structure workshop. Two workshop passages required good visibility and light transmission. LEFAST supplied fully transparent HSD4322 high speed spiral doors with hollow polycarbonate panels.
Challenge
The two workshop passages needed doors that allowed people to see through them and let light into the working areas. The doors also had to provide good wind resistance and sealing.
The factory is located in an area with a mild climate and relatively small temperature variations throughout the year, so high thermal insulation was not a major requirement. The openings had ample installation space, with no obstructions around the door structures.
LEFAST Solution
LEFAST recommended fully transparent HSD4322 high-speed spiral doors for the two passages.
The door panels use hollow polycarbonate panels, providing clear visibility and good light transmission. The HSD4322 also meets the site's requirements for wind resistance and sealing.
Remote control allows operators to open the doors without having to use the control panel at the entrance.
Results
The transparent HSD4322 doors provide clear visibility between workshop areas while meeting the requirements for wind resistance and sealing. Their clean appearance also suits the factory's steel-structure interior..
