At a Vitamin C manufacturing facility, semi-finished products move directly from the production line to the warehouse by AGV.
LEFAST installed 24 HSD4322 high-speed spiral doors with stainless steel components and AGV integration, providing automatic access while meeting hygiene, insulation, and sealing requirements.
Challenge
LEFAST selected the HSD4322 high speed spiral door with stainless steel columns, head assmeble, and cover panels to meet the hygiene requirements of the facility.
The HSD4322 uses a thermal broken insulated door panel, together with multiple sealing points including double-sided panel sealing, flocked side seals, and EPDM seals at the bottom and top seals,
For AGV operation, a wireless receiver connected the AGV system with the door controller. When an AGV approached, the door opened automatically.
The closing delay was set to 10s, allowing the AGV enough time to pass safely,

Results
24 HSD4322 high-speed spiral doors were all integrated into the material transfer process.
With the doors integrated into the AGV workflow, material can move between production and storage without manual door operation. The system has become part of the facility’s daily production process, and the users were highly satisfied with the result.
