Interlocked Cold Chain Production Isolation System
Smart Interlocked Door System for Continuous Cold Chain Production
Project Overview
This project is applied in a frozen food manufacturing facility producing various packaged frozen products. The production line requires controlled temperature separation between two packaging stages to prevent cold loss and ensure stable processing conditions.
Two RCD3000 high-speed self-repaired doors are installed to form an interlocked buffer system along the production line.
Challenge
In continuous production environments, frequent material transfer between packaging stages can lead to cold air leakage and unstable temperature conditions. Traditional manual doors cannot synchronize with production flow, resulting in interruptions and inefficiency.
The challenge is to maintain thermal stability while ensuring uninterrupted production movement.
LEFAST Solution
A dual-door interlocked system was implemented using two RCD3000 high-speed doors connected to the production line control logic. The system ensures that when one door is open, the other remains fully closed, forming a controlled buffer zone between packaging stages.
Material transfer is synchronized with automatic door opening triggered by conveyor movement.
Results
The system effectively prevents cold air leakage between production stages while maintaining continuous workflow efficiency. It enhances temperature stability and production synchronization, significantly improving overall operational control in frozen food processing.
