Warehouse facilities often face structural constraints during renovation or expansion projects. For warehouses requiring frequent logistics traffic, limited installation space can significantly impact door selection and operational performance.
LEFAST provided an HSD4322 High Speed Spiral Door solution for the Luoyang YTO spare parts warehouse, utilizing a customized track design to achieve efficient logistics access within a restricted installation space.
Challenge
The warehouse opening was approximately 4.5 meters high, while the available installation space above the opening was only around 400 mm, making standard Round Spiral and Oval Spiral configurations unsuitable.
At the same time, the facility required efficient access for forklifts and light transport vehicles, demanding both high operational efficiency and maximum clear opening height.
LEFAST Solution
LEFAST developed a customized L-shaped track configuration, allowing the door panels to travel along a horizontal track instead of a conventional spiral system when fully opened.
This solution maximized the use of the limited overhead space while maintaining high-speed operation and full access clearance.
Results
Successfully solved the installation challenge created by limited headroom while maintaining high-speed door performance.
The solution maximized available space without modifying the building structure, providing efficient and reliable access for forklifts and logistics vehicles.
