LEFAST provided an HSD6022 High Speed Spiral Door solution for a cable manufacturing facility in Qingdao, combining customized installation design with efficient automated material flow.
Challenge
Multiple drying rooms were arranged in parallel, requiring the door system to meet operational requirements while maintaining a clean and organized facility layout.
The installation also needed to avoid occupying additional space outside the opening to prevent interference with equipment placement and material flow.
LEFAST Solution
LEFAST developed a reverse installation configuration, positioning the side columns on the exterior wall of the drying room while locating the head assembly on the roof structure.
This approach maximized the use of otherwise unused overhead space. The door system was integrated with the RGV transport system, enabling automated movement of cable products into and out of the drying rooms.
Results
Enabled efficient coordination between the drying room access system and automated material handling operations.
The customized installation solution maximized available building space, maintained a clean facility layout, and supported automated production processes.
